Overview
Orbit is a modular DeFi yield platform designed to make earning on stablecoins simple, transparent, and accessible. I was brought in to help ship the MVP end to end, focusing on frontend architecture, onboarding UX, and translating complex DeFi mechanics into a Web2-like experience suitable for partners and everyday users.
Challenge
- DeFi yield products were fragmented, intimidating, and built for power users.
- UX needed to feel familiar and trustworthy while remaining fully on-chain.
- The product had to support multi-chain logic and future white-label use.
- A fast MVP delivery was required to validate demand with partners.
Solution
- Mapped user flows to remove unnecessary DeFi complexity from core actions.
- Built the full frontend using React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and Shadcn/UI.
- Integrated smart contract interactions for deposits, withdrawals, and automation.
- Connected on-chain actions with off-chain APIs for real-time feedback.
- Implemented motion and transitions to improve clarity and perceived performance.
- Collaborated closely with design and backend teams to iterate quickly.
